The Service with a Smile Award 2011
We're very proud to announce that Jeremy Smith has won the 2011 Civic Award from the Mayor, Cllr David Bretherton. (Jeremy didn't want to say anything, but he's not stopping us sharing his good news!)
Jeremy won 'The Service with a Smile Award'. His nomination said: He always greets people with a friendly welcome, his service is outstanding and he goes that extra mile to help people, whether it be, quickly rushing to help someone struggling with a pushchair or offering water for a dog brought into the shop.

New arrivals?
We're very excited about new arrivals at Time Out. Our son, Dan, has started working with us, so its becoming a real family business. Jemma, sadly, has left us to continue with her year out.
Another new arrival in the next few weeks will be our wood burning stove in the upstairs lounge. This is going to make the sofas really popular, we think!
And, of course, we've got Christmas decorations in the shop and special festive fare for you to try out.
Cakes, Carols & Candles
Whether or not you're a regular at Time Out you might like to join us for our Christmas event. On Sunday 20 December 2009 we're hosting "Cakes, Carols & Candles". We're pleased to be hosting it with communitychurch (www.occ.org.uk/thame)
It starts at 5.00pm with free refreshments, followed by carols-by-candlelight (from about 5.30pm), ending by 6.30pm. Something for all the family, and completely free, so we look forward to seeing some of you there.
Welcome to the Blog
Although this isn't our first Blog entry I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our web site and blog. Hopefully you have already visited Time Out and enjoyed your time with us. If not, then please call by, say "Hi" and try some of our quality teas, coffees and real home baking.

Relax...
Teapigs?
Some of you have asked us about our teapigs range. We came across them at a Coffee Shop trade exhibition in the summer. We enjoyed the samples they gave us, so decided to use them as our main tea supplier.
You can find them at www.teapigs.co.uk, where they comment "we have had enough of the average slop which is crushed into dust and crammed into the nation's teabags - so here we have it a real tea mission!"
Do tell us what you think of the taste!
We're online...
Well, after quite a while we're finally on free wifi at Time Out, so feel free to come in and try it out!
